Μάμαλης Βασίλης

My name is Vasileios Mamalis,

I am Greek Νavy ret. Commander, graduate of Hellenic Naval Academy. During my career as combatant deck officer at the beginning I served on warships and then at managerial and administrative posts in the Hellenic Navy, in the General Staff of Defence, in the Ministry of National Defence and other Ministries. From 2019   I am a consultant to SECRETARY GENERAL of the MINISTRY OF MARITIME AFFAIRS & INSULAR POLICY.  Today I am the new Executive Director of Hellenic Ports Association.

I addition, I have studied Public Administration with a specialization in Public Economics at Panteion University and I have a postgraduate specialization in Actuarial Science and Risk Management after a successful study at the Department of Statistics of the University of Piraeus.

Moreover, I have   extensive teaching experience in the fields of Management, Risk Management, Defense Economics, Project Management, Hr. Management, Marketing and Logistics. I have taught at the Hellenic Naval Academy and the Naval War School, at the University of Piraeus and at the University of West Attica   a large number of training programs.

In my spare time I am involved in sailing and travelling
