“Ideas in Progress” Event
The Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award with the support of PatrasIQ organizes an event with the theme:
“ IDEAS IN PROGRESS “
on Friday, February 3, at 18:00 at the Chamber of Achaia, 58 Michalakopoulou, Patras.
Representatives of the Greek business scene, as well as the Greek Entrepreneurship Award will present their experience and knowledge, focusing on all those characteristics that a business idea must have to stand out and evolve, attracting funding, support and investors.
At the event, which concerns all those who want to participate in the Greek Entrepreneurship Award 2017, executives of the Award will give tips for the best presentation of a business idea and the correct completion of the application form.

The Organizing Committee of PatrasIQ invites you to take part in a consultation of bodies of our Region, regarding the preparation of the organization of 4 the s Expertise Transfer Report – PatrasIQ 2017.
After the significant success of the previous exhibitions, our intention is to continue and strengthen the institution, in order to upgrade it to a pan-Hellenic and international meeting of innovation and entrepreneurship.

TECHNOLOGY TRANSPORT REPORT 2016
15-16-17 April 2016, “Dimitris Tofalos” Sports Center, Patras
The Patras Innovation Quest 2016 (Patras IQ 2016), was organized on April 15-17, 2016, for the third time in Patras, at the “Dimitris Tofalos” sports center.
The report aims to develop and strengthen the cooperation of the research community with the productive sector and will include:
• Products of innovative ideas
• Innovative Small and Medium Enterprises with products resulting from collaboration with universities and research institutions
• Program of events in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship
Research teams will present in the productive sector and to investors, mature research results that have the potential to be used for investment. Corresponding problems and challenges facing the productive sector can be discussed with researchers and possible solutions explored. In parallel with the above, recognized speakers and organizations will participate, in matters of transfer of know-how and entrepreneurship in order to contribute to the effective utilization of innovation.
This Initiative contributes to the creation of a critical competitive advantage , both in the research community and in the productive sector through the constant effort to solve problems and implement innovative ideas. In addition, it aspires to be a tool for researchers who wish to present their applied research in the productive field. The purpose of these actions is to familiarize both researchers and the productive sector with knowledge management, innovation development, with mechanisms and conditions for building networks and innovative collaborative formations and alternative ways of financing innovation.
The exhibition has been under the auspices of the Ministries of Education, Research and Religions and Economy, Development and Tourism with the signing of a program contract between them and the University of Patras, the Chamber of Achaia, the Region of Western Greece , the Hellenic Open University and the Technological Educational Institution of Western Greece .
Co-organizers of the 3rd Knowledge Transfer Exhibition – Patras IQ are all the research centers and the links of the western axis such as the Institute of Chemical Engineering (FORTH-IEXMI), the Institute of Computer Technology and Publications (ITYE Diofantos), the Institute of Industrial Systems (IN.VIS), the Scientific Park of Patras and the Association of Businesses and Industries of Peloponnese & amp; Western Greece (SBP & amp; DE).
The exhibition will be visited by representatives of the State, ambassadors, representatives of institutions in the field of innovation and small and medium enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs from Greece and abroad.
